In this tutorial you will see how to include a careers form on your website to collect job applications that are sent to your email. This article is split into two steps:

  1. Create your job application form on Jotform

  2. Publish your job application form on your custom PodiumIO website

Create your job application form on Jotform

  1. Go to Jotform’s website and create an account.

  2. You can create your form from scratch, but we recommend using a template like this one. Click on Use template to use this template.

  3. In Jotform’s form editor, make sure to add fields pertaining to your business and industry, and to add your available job positions in the ‘Position Applied’ dropdown (if using the template above). For more information on how to use Jotform, please see their guide here.

  4. Once your form is ready, click on Publish in the top bar and select Embed in the left sidebar.

  5. Copy the embed code and move on to the next step.

Publish your job application form on your custom PodiumIO website

  1. Log in to your website.

  2. Inside the Wordpress dashboard, click on pages in the left sidebar and create a new page.

  3. Make sure you give your page a title (like “Careers”) and a featured image.

  4. Click on the blue “+” sign in the top left corner.

  5. In the popup menu search for the “Custom HTML” block and select it to insert it in the page.

  6. In the box that appears, paste your Jotform embed code copied in the first step of this tutorial.

  7. Click on Publish in the top right corner. You can also Save as draft to save your work and come back at a later time to publish it.
