Assigning the same service providers to recurring bookings

Choose to assign the same Service Provider(s) to your customer for each recurring booking they make.

We know how important it is for many of your customers to have the same Service Provider(s) assigned to their recurring bookings.

For obvious security and/or consistency reasons, this is even more important for residential consumers ( ex. home cleaning, lawn care, mobile detailing) or for personal care services (ex. massage therapist) who have a natural preference to see the same service provider coming to their home.

assign the same service provider to your customer for each recurring booking they make.

πŸ‘‰ For example, If your customer has booked a monthly car wash service, you can assign the same Service provider (team member) to all the monthly bookings made by this customer.

βœ… Here's how to assign the same Service Provider under different scenarios -

1. When setting up the booking page (for online web bookings)

Case 1. When the booking page is set to manual dispatch

Case 2. When the booking page is set to auto dispatch

2. Assign the same service provider when you create a call-in booking

Case 1. Call-in booking created using the custom booking option

Case 2. Call-in booking created using an existing Booking page option

MORE importantly, with this new feature, we have included a new alert system to let you know if a Service Provider(s) has been double booked (in any part of the start-to-finish time period).

1. When setting up the booking page (for online web bookings)

When you receive a web booking via live pricing and real-time booking page, depending upon your dispatch settings (manual or auto), the Service provider will be assigned.

Case 1. When the booking page is set to manual dispatch

If your booking page is set to manual dispatching, then the web booking will reflect under the dispatch section as unassigned.

Helpful Resource: Check out this video on where you can set your booking pages to manual dispatching.

Once you assign the unassigned booking to the service provider(s) and save, a pop-up will appear asking if you would like to assign the same Service provider for all future recurring bookings for this customer. Click "Yes" if you would like to do so.

Case 2. When the booking page is set to auto dispatch.

If your booking page is set to auto dispatching, then the web booking will be assigned to the Service Provider(s) based on the priority you had predefined in auto-dispatching mode and all future recurring bookings will be automatically assigned to the same service provider.

2) Assign the same service provider when you create a call-in booking

a) Video on how to assign the same service provider for a custom call-in booking

b) Assign the same service provider when a custom recurring booking is created, with an existing Booking Page

(i) When the booking page is set to manual-dispatching

At the last step of creating a call-in booking using an 'existing booking page', which is set to manual-dispatching, you will be prompted in a pop up window to dispatch the Service Provider(s) now or later.

(ii) When the booking page is set to auto-dispatching

At the last step of creating a call-in booking using an 'existing booking page', which is set to auto-dispatching, you will be prompted via a pop up form, of the name of the Service Provider(s) to whom the booking plus all recurring bookings are assigned for that customer.

You will have an option to change the Service Provider(s), if you should desire to do so.
